The Department of Physiology and Health
Science at Ball State University is home to
the Alpha Chapter of Eta Sigma Gamma. Eta
Sigma Gamma, the national honorary for
health education, has a rich history of
serving students and the profession through
teaching, research, and service. This
honorary, which was established on the
campus of Ball State University in 1967, has
grown to include over 100 chapters
throughout the United
States. The primary
purpose of Eta Sigma Gamma, from its
inception, has been to further the
professional competence and dedication of
individual members of the health education
profession.
The Alpha Chapter motto is "preparing health
education professionals at Ball State
University-where involvement in Eta Sigma
Gamma makes all the difference!" With this
motto in mind, the executive committee is
looking forward to your involvement this
year. We welcome your ideas and suggestions
regarding education, research, service, and
fund-raising activities for the Alpha
Chapter to sponsor.
Kindest
personal regards,
Alpha Chapter Executive Committee
